Answer: The streams of water flowing constantly on the ocean surface in a definite direction are called ocean currents. They are caused due to the temperature differences in ocean water situated at different latitudes.

Answer: Ocean water is salty because it contains a large amount of salt dissolved in it. The salt present in ocean water is mostly sodium chloride or the common salt that we consume.
